An Account of the Creation of Almorath "Orn, the Traveler, came to this realm from Elsewhere, riding the dark form of his Dragon-mount Lluderan. But the journey to Here was too arduous for the awesome beast, and he expired soon after bringing Orn to Here. Orn, the death of Lluderan still gleaming in his eye, gathered up the beast’s cooling form, and from it he fashioned the form of the realm in its entirety.
The monster’s skull and bones formed the rock around the heart of Almorath, within which was the terrible belly of the dragon with its Fire trapped inside. His skin and flesh Orn wrapped around these to make the good Earth. His spines and horns became tall mountains and peaks. His blood spilled out to form the GreatSea and all the Waters of Almorath. His dying breath became the Wind and air, which blows both chill and warm over the Lands.
Orn then fashioned a giant arch out of the Dragon’s mighty backbone. And the arch supported the heavens, raising it above Almorath. In this expanse Orn set the creature’s fathomless eyes, baleful and awful. The strong right eye became the Sun, bringing it’s warmth, it’s life, and it’s cruel heat upon the earth in watch. And the weaker left became the milky cool Moon, shadowy, mysterious, and cold in its sentinel.
And around these eyes Orn scattered the shining scales of the beast to form the myriad stars, twinkling and diamond hard.
And Orn blessed his mount for his service. And taking the creature's heart and brain, he burnt them and spread their ashes on the Lands. And the Ashes gave forth life…"
