The Intro: The Stair RPG
The Stair RPG is inspired by the simplicity of The D6 System™© published by West End Games. But the D6 system lacked sufficient granularity for me and the rest of the system wasn't entirely satisfactory. The Stair (name because the method of measuring anything in the system is a Step) adds a more incremental way of tracking abilities and skills as well as differing in a variety of other ways. I do not intend to infringe on WEG's copyright, I simply provide here another type of system to play, drawing from their work. Also, it should be noted that this a free RPG and no copyrighted material has been used.
To Apeiron Productions
To Apeiron is a term from Ancient Greek philosophy describing the undifferentiated fundament from which all things sprang. Kind of a comment on what I hope this will be, a genesis of new things and ideas. But enough of the ego stroking. To Apeiron Productions is a one man show. Not to say I don't receive much needed and valued support from friends and my wonderful wife, but right now I'm doing all the design, graphics, etc. And hey, I love it! But I hope you'll understand that even if everything isn't quite to professional standards, I'm still working hard. If you have a suggestion, comment, or interesting contribution you would like to make, feel free to e-mail me. I will ignore flames unless they are articulate and deserved. Hope you like what you see here. Use it in good health and fun. And remember that this is a free RPG. You may not charge for reproduction of any of the materials or text found on this site.
